(The Spread) – The opening odds for Week 6 of the 2012 CFL Season are out, so let’s check out the spreads for this week’s Canadian football action.
The first game this week will take place in Winnipeg where the Blue Bombers will host the Montreal Alouettes at 8:30PM ET on Friday night. The visiting Alouettes are currently 2-point favorites over the Blue Bombers, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 55 points.
The second game in the CFL this week will feature the B.C. Lions taking on the Toronto Argonauts. The visiting Lions are 2.5-point road favorites over the Argonauts, while the over/under total is sitting at 52.5 points. Kickoff is set for 5:00PM ET on Monday.
According to latest CFL trends, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings between the Blue Bombers and Alouettes, while Montreal is 1-5 against the spread in its last six games against Winnipeg and 0-4 ATS in its last four road games versus the Bombers.
Meanwhile, the under is 8-1 in the last nine meetings between the Lions and Argonauts in Toronto, and 13-3 in the last 16 meetings overall. The Lions are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against the Argonauts.
