LOS ANGELES, CA (The Spread) – After lighting up the scoreboard last night, the Braves and Dodgers will look to do it again tonight.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -170 money line favorites over the Braves, who are +156 money line road underdogs. The total for this 10:10PM ET game is currently sitting at 6.5 runs.
The Braves will start Alex Wood against the Dodgers’ Zack Greinke. Wood is 7-8 on the year with a 3.44 ERA and has never started against Los Angeles. Greinke, meanwhile, is 12-5 on the year and carries a 2.74 ERA, plus is 1-1 with a 3.50 ERA in three career starts versus Atlanta.
The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in Los Angeles and 6-0 in the last six meetings overall. The over is also 4-0 in the Braves’ last four road games, 7-2-2 in their last 11 games versus a right-handed starter and 3-1-1 in their last five games overall.
On the other side, the over is 5-1 in Greinke’s last six home starts, 5-1 in his last six starts as a home favorite and 6-0 in his last six starts with the total set at 6.5 or lower. The over is also 5-1 in the Dodgers’ last six home games versus a team with a winning road record, 18-7-3 in their last 28 games versus a National League East opponent and 24-10-2 in their last 36 games as a home favorite.
