According to oddsmakers the B.C. Lions are 7/2 favorites to win this year’s Grey Cup while the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have the next best odds at 9/2. The Montreal Alouettes are 11/2, the Calgary Stampeders are 5/1 and both the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers are 6/1, respectively. The two long shots are the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos, who are 9/1 to win the 2012 Grey Cup, respectively.
The Tiger-Cats are 7/4 favorites to win the CFL East Division this year, while the Alouettes are 9/4 and both the Arognauts and Blue Bombers are 7/2, respectively. The Blue Bombers won the East Division last year and wound up playing the B.C. Lions in the 99th Grey Cup (a 34-23 loss for Winnipeg).
The defending champion Lions are 5/4 favorites to win the CFL West Division while the Stampeders are 2/1. The Eskimos are 9/2 and the Roughriders are 5/1 long shots to win the West.
As for the regular season win totals for each team, the over/under for the Lions is 12.5 wins while the o/u for the Stampeders is 11.5 The total number of wins for the Eskimos is 7.5, the o/u for the Tiger-Cats is 10.5, as is the total for the Alouettes. The over/under for number of wins for the Roughriders is 6, the Argonauts’ total regular season win total is 8.5 and so is the total for the Blue Bombers.
