(The Spread) – Who will take home this year’s NBA Finals MVP? Let’s check out the updated odds
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, LeBron James is the current favorite to win this year’s NBA Finals MVP at 4/9 (-225), while his teammate Dwyane Wade has 8/1 (+800) odds. Chris Bosh is 20/1 (+2000), Chris “Birdman” Anderson is a long shot at 99/1 (+9900), and “Any other Heat Player” is 35/1.
For the Spurs, Tony Parker has the best odds at 9/2 (+450) while Tim Duncan is 7/1 (+700) and Manu Ginobili is 20/1 (+2000). Kawhi Leonard is the long shot for San Antonio at 30/1 (+3000), while “Any other Spurs Player” is also 30/1 (+3000) to win the 2013 NBA Finals MVP.
LeBron has been fantastic throughout the postseason while averaging 26.2 points per game. He’s had to be great because both Bosh and Wade have struggled outside of Game 7 versus the Pacers.
Parker, meanwhile, is averaging 23.0 points per game and Duncan is averaging 17.8 points per contest. Game 1 between these two teams is set for 9:00PM ET as Miami is a 5-point favorite at home.
