(The Spread) – American Idol is down to just three contestants and Philip Phillips remains favored to win Season 11.
According to oddsmakers, Phillips is favored with 11/10 odds while Joshua Ledet has the next best odds to win at 2/1. Jessica Sanchez, who was viewed as the favorite a few weeks ago, is the long shot to win American Idol Season 11, although at 9/4 odds.
Last week, Phillips was favored at 7/ while Sanchez and Ledet were both 2/1 to win, respectively. Hollie Cavanagh was the long shot at 18/1 and as predicted, she was the latest to be eliminated. She had spent the most time in the show’s “Bottom Three” at five times.
Of the three remaining contestants, Ledet has spent the most time in the “Bottom 3.” He reached the bottom three way back on March 8, then returned to the bottom on April 12. Sanchez has never reached the bottom three, although she was “saved” on April 12. Phillips has never been a part of the show’s bottom three.
There are just two weeks remaining in Season 11 of American Idol, with the next episode airing on Thursday, May 17. The season finale will then air on Thursday, May 24.Want More From TheSpread.com? Follow us on Twitter and Facebook or Subscribe to Our News Feeds!
