(The Spread) - Oddsmakers have released updated odds for American Idol Season 11 and the show has a new favorite.
Colton Dixon is now an 8/5 favorite to win this season's American Idol, while Phillip Phillips has the next best odds at 5/2. Jessica Sanchez is 3/1, Joshua Ledet and Skylar Laine are both 10/1, respectively, while Elise Testone and Hollie Cavanagh are 30/1 respectively.
Just one week ago, Sanchez was 2/1 while Dixon was 9/4. Phillips was 5/2, Ledet was 10/1 and Laine was 15/1. Testone and Cavanagh were the long shots at 25/1, respectively.
In early March, Phillips was a 7/2 favorite to win while Sanchez had the next best odds at 4/1. Dixon was 7/1 while Shannon Magrane, who has since been eliminated, was 15/2. Testone was 8/1, Ledet was 9/1, Cavanagh was 10/1 and Laine was also 10/1.
American Idol 11 airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00PM ET and is hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have returned to judge the competition and the show has kept the same format as American Idol Season 10.
