According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Larkin has 4/5 odds to win this year's ACC Player of the Year. Duke's Mason Plumlee has the next best odds at 5/4, while Virginia Tech's Erick Green is 6/1 and both James Michael McAdoo from North Carolina and Joe Harris of Virginia are 10/1, respectively. The current long shot is N.C. State's C.J. Leslie is 12/1.
Larkin currently averages 13.8 points per game for the Hurricanes this year and 3.8 rebounds per contest. Plumlee, meanwhile, is averaging 17 points per game, 10.2 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per contest. For the Hokies, Green is averaging 25.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per contest and 3.9 assists per game.
McAdoo has averaged 14.6 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per contest and 1.3 assists per game. Harris is averaging 17.1 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game. Leslie is averaging 15.2 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per contest and 1.5 assists per game.
