WASHINGTON (The Spread) – The Washington Wizards have decided to fire head coach Flip Saunders after a 2-15 start. Assistant Randy Wittman will replace Saunders according to published reports. The Wizards fell to 0-7 on the road with a 20-point loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Washington's next game is at home Wednesday against the Charlotte Bobcats. View Current 2012 NBA Finals Odds Saunders was in his third season with the Wizards, going 51-130. When he was hired, the team featured All-Stars Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler, but the franchise is now rebuilding around John Wall. The Wizards are coming off a 103-83 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. They’re currently 5-12 against the spread while the under has hit in 10 of their 17 games overall.
