According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, New York Rangers' goalie Henrik Lundqvist is the favorite to win this year's Vezina Trophy at 4/1. Jonathan Quick of the Kings has the next best odds at 5/1, while Pekka Rinne of Nashville is 15/2 and Ryan Miller of Buffalo is 8/1.
Continuing with the odds, Detroit's Jimmy Howard is 11/1 while Vancouver's Cory Schneider, Boston's Tuukka Rask and St. Louis' Jaroslav Halak are 12/1, respectively. Mike Smith of the Coyotes is 15/1, Marc-Andre Fleury of the Penguins is 16/1 and a slew of players are 18/1, including Carolina's Cam Ward, Montreal's Carey Price, New Jersey's Martin Brodeur and Vancouver's Roberto Luongo.
Some of the long shots include Washington's Braden Holtby and Minnesota's Niklas Backstrom, who are both 25/1, respectuively, and Ottawa's Craig Anderson, who is 33/1. Dallas' Kari Lehtonen is 35/1, Winnipeg's Ondrej Pavelec and Colorado's Semyon Varlamov are 40/1, respectively, while Edmonton's Devan Dubnyk is 50/1.
Lundqvist won the 2011-12 Vezina Trophy, while Tim Thomas won in 2010-11. Ryan Miller won in 2009-10, while Thomas won in 2008-09 and Martin Brodeur won in both 2006-07 and 2007-08.
